On 8/31/25 I purchased two Zoeller 30-0181 PVC check valves through Amazon.com, sold by Doxa- Worldwide. When I went to install the 2 check valves on 3/4/26 (the same model I had been using for the last 10 years, replacing them every 5-years), both units leaked. It seemed that both rubber-slip connections were so hard that I had to keep tightening the metal connectors until they would not tighten any more. When they still leaked, I took the check valves off the PVC connections on my sump pump and both lower connectors were no longer circular, and they continued to leak water. I know that Zoeller offers a 1-year warranty on the part and I would like them both replaced.
